Overview
The original "WYSIWYG" SGML editor is
still developed and marketed by SoftQuad. SoftQuad's HoTMetaL HTML editor is derived from Author/Editor. Expect to see an XML-specific version announced in the first half of 1998.
Typical Applications: technical documentation, humanities
Availability: Windows 95/NT, Unix; release 3.1 available for Macintosh; future development will be done with the XMetaL product line.
