Overview

This class explores contract-first Web services development using the Altova Enterprise XML Suite. Beginning with the development of a Web services description (a WSDL document) using XMLSpy, the student is led through the development of a Web service from back end to front. Along the way, the student will learn how to autogenerate Web services components using MapForce, test a service using XMLSpy as a SOAP client, and explore the use of the XMLSpy SOAP debugger to intercept and investigate SOAP messages generated in a Web service exchange.
