In this screen shot, the left-hand panel shows the elements in the DTD. Those that can be inserted in the current context are highlighted, those that are invalid are greyed out. The workspace shows multiple document windows. The active window shows the cursor over the address element. When the cursor hovers, the content model and description of the element appears. The data in this element is entered as attribute values through an attribute dialog; when data is element content, a separate text window is invoked. The menu bar has icons for inserting elements as children, before, after or replacing the current element. On the schedule for the next revision of the editor is to make the GUI itself configurable according to the DTD.
