XFML sounds like it's very close to what I've been needing for a while: metadata that's simpler than RDF or TM. And that's good news. However it would seem from the spec and your examples that it has no namespace! How am I supposed to embed it in, say, my SVG documents to generate self-contained map representations on the fly? That looks like an oversight, and if I have anything to request for v2, then that's definitely it. If I somehow missed it, then please point me to the right place in the spec.
