Nelson, Paul reinvented nothing. He just used HTTP and URIs. No further agreement (and therefore standardization) was necessary. Have you compared your SOAP API to what your partners are using at http://www.google.com/xml (using the DTD at http://www.google.com/google.dtd)? MB
