In this article , Eric van der Vlist states that their is a need for more economical XML Schema languages. He references a couple of the languages that are currently available, but he fails to mention one that supports almost 100% of the feature set established by the W3C standard published in May 2001. Also, this product takes XML Schemas and produces 100% Java classes. The product is Schema2Java Compiler from Creative Science Systems, Inc.
The two points I would like to emphasize are:
1: It is economical in that it only costs $119.00, and
2. The fact that it produces 100% Java classes allows for development in one of the most popular development languages used today, especially in the Enterprise.
While others talk about providing some of the feature set functionality of XML Schema, I use this product now to gain the productivity advantages talked about in this article. Some of the best productivity software comes form upstart innovative companies like Creative Science Systems, Inc.
I pride myself in my market research, and I must say that I continue to find my research and testing more complete than the leading sites and publications that include XML.COM and others.
There is always room for improvement, and I hope you take the time to be more complete in your research to include products like Schema2Java. Your readers will benefit from input from developers such as myself.
Thank you for the opportunity to share my input, and I look forward to your continued publication of articles, especially in the area of XML Schemas.
Sincerely,
