After ridiculously contorted attempts to "do the drag thang" it finally clicked: you're supposed to drag the box with the *text* in it around the page, not those attractive little drag-worthy maroon boxes with the dashed outlines. I'd hovered over those far too many times, mouse clicked, I downloaded the svg plug-in (again, over a modem!), and finally Antoine's words of advice in the talkback must have registered. Hope this saves someone else a tiny bit of pain! Cheers, Paul ps the example is really nice (once you know what it's supposed to do!!)
