Does anyone know if there is a web-based CMS system that has XML output capabilities? I would like to find out if there is something available that could generate HTML web pages and also XML based content for import into inDesign.

  Yes, SDL Tridion is a fully XML driven CMS. You can pump content out in any format, including XML. It even has an Indesign Connector, so you can drag&drop managed content directly into your Indesign .indd. Plus its targetted at multi-site & multi-lingual customers, so if you have a brochure or something in lots of languages, it will automatically churn your brochure out in all those languages.
