We have a SOAP Web Service for DHL shipping and tracking. Tracking thousand packages in bulk mode is a long running process. Using RSS feed is well suited for this task. How it works: 1) Our user register for account on our portal. 2) He gets a personalized tracking feed with unique http address. 3) He enters up to 5,000 tracking numbers in the input field and clicks on Track. 4) Who is responsible can check the status of the bulk tracking with the RSS feed. 5) The end of the tracking process produces a ZIP file containing CSV file with the results.
