I've been watching for the various reports on the conference over the past while, since, 1.) I couldn't be in two places at one time, to find out how the sessions I missed went, and 2.) I lost my notes on the last day.

What were some of the things you disagreed with? My most rewarding session was Kurt Cagle's, which you moderated, especially the last part, when, the next speaker nowhere around, Kurt showed what he had worked through the previous night till three in the morning, & John Boyer & others were pointing out alternatives. It was a jam session with pointy brackets.

The theme I noticed repeated through the week was convergence--the notion either displayed or encouraged by various speakers, including Tim Bray, that there was a 'Darwinian' (especially with the DITA references all over the week) motion towards a few applications of XML which could represent most aspects of most information.
