    Not sure why this question is asked here,
    but a reasonable solution to this problem
    is to convert the XML to HTML with XSLT,
    and then open it in MS-Word.


    If Word-2000 is used, you can generate HTML
    specifically targetted at it, that also
    contains embedded XML markup to provide more
    detailed information, and allow you to create
    a pretty complete Word representation of the XML,
    including any features supported by MS-Word
    2000, such as footnotes, meta-data (document
    properties), cross-references, etc.
