 Using Stylesheet Schemas
Subject: W3C Beta schema doesn't validate
Date: 2005-04-12 10:58:14
From: TMathes

The link to the W3C beta XML Schema for XSLT 2.0 produced the file schema_for_xslt20.xsd. This schema, loaded into Altova's XMLSpy produces a validation error under the xs:restriction of the xs:complexType named "text-element-base-type". Specifically, xs:simpleType shouldn't have xs:restriction as it's parent.

I'm not saying that that's not an error, but after validating with XML Spy it's always good to get a second opinion. I've heard too many stories about validation problems from XML Spy.
