 Patents, Royalties, and the Future of the Web
Subject: W3C setting standards

Lets face it, HTML was a crappy standard,
yet we entrust these same people to
develop future standards. They came up
with XML, which, in my opinion, is "Much
Ado About Nothing" -- we would have been
far better served by a format like
"Data::Dumper" with validation rules
laid on top of it. Why are we entrusting
our future to these W3C losers? Walk
away from these junk producers.
