XMLStarlet Command Line XML Toolkit http://xmlstar.sourceforge.net/ Don't attempt anything XML in windows without it! Also available for linux (though I haven't tried it there) Works like a charm. XMLStarlet command line utility is written in C and uses libxml2 and libxslt.

  Yep - that works nicely. I have only tested it very quickly but it is a single download (xmlstarlet-1.0.0-win32.zip) and unzip, set the path variable and you can do this:

  
  xml tr ..\add-styles.xsl old-styles.xml > styles.xml

  
  I look forward to playing with this one.
