Disagree...an NMTOKEN is slightly less restrictive than an XML Name, so 'numeric' enumeration values are OK. From the spec: NameChar ::= Letter | Digit | '.' | '-' | '_' | ':' | CombiningChar | Extender Nmtoken ::= (NameChar)+ Nigel
