Thanks for the reference to my JS Chess application, there is a new version currently in development which should improve quite a few things as well as add some new functionality - will post a link once completed.
Having seen your list of chess XML standards, I may include support for one or more of them. The original idea was to create an app to allow me to show my games on my site (http://www.greggriffiths.org/) rather than produce a program, and also to see if I could write the thing in the first place, which is why I've not used any of the standards thus far.
