I don't think the SSR has been used by *anyone*. But essentially the same technique of obtaining unambiquous extensions through transformation to RDF/XML is used in GRDDL, a more general approach to the problem (covering XHTML and other XML languages), see: http://www.w3.org/2004/01/rdxh/spec
