hi all,
We have a j2ee application which renders dynamic webforms using xml/xsl and upon the customer filling the form, its sends out email. Currently it supports 10+ languages which includes japanese as well. With japan, we found 6 characters to be troublesome with their display

The web content and email are dynamically generated using xml/xsl with java. the encoding types used are SJIS,Shift-JIS respectively.

Can you anyone provide inputs on this issue? Anything is most welcome. hope the issue is clear.

Note: the 6 characters are minu, pound, cent, not, wave dash, double vertical line.

thanks in advance,
eswar
