Subject: Schematron+relax ng article

From: Dave Pawson

1. Page 2, you say embed Schematron rules at the top level, then don't do it.
2. Which version of schematron please?
3. Why such a long complex example, why not focus on the issue being discussed, not the instance validation.
4. No links to the command line Schematron stylesheet you use.

    Hi Dave,

    Answer to 1:
The reason I included this option is because if you do it this way you have all the validation specified in one schema. You can of course have one RNG schema and then a separate Schematron schema and do each validation separate.

    Answer 2:
I've used Schematron 1.5 but 1.6 and ISO Schematron should work as well.

    Answer 3:
I realize that the examples are a bit complicated but I believe instance validation is part of the issue as well. I thought it would be hard to understand the actual validation process without an example.

    Answer 4:
Hmm, in the original article I had a link to zip file with all the examples, stylesheets and java code. It seems it's gone missing so I appologize for this. I'll check with the xml.com people and see if they can add it. In the meantime you can download the zip file here:
