Knowing Javascript and DHTML is quite a task, if perhaps not always the best solution to all problems. Unfortunately, XML databases and specifically embedded XML are so new, that I don't know of any out there that can be embedded this way. I think you're probably better off with something on the server that you can reference via an URL or XPath query embedded in a post response.
