Are there any working or planned production applications using this?

RSS as RDF is certainly being used in the real world, a good example is the 'smart' newsreader NewsMonster. I'm personally using XSLT to transform RSS 0.9x/2.0 to RDF in my IdeaGraph project, and it works remarkably well.

As far as I'm aware no-one is yet using the SSR module in their feed, but RSS 2.0 extensions are still very thin on the ground anyway.

I'm not even sure it's important for SSR to be used explicitly - if the idea helps to raise awareness that vanilla XML can be used for the Semantic Web (if specs are well written) then it'll have done some good.
