Construction suggested by David Neumann dosen't work on "multilevel" numbering: <Lev1> <Lev2> <Lev3 x="y"/> </Lev2> <Lev2> <Lev3 x="z"/> </Lev2> </Lev1> xsl: <template for="Lev1"/> <template for="Lev2"/> <template for="Lev3"/> so I want to number Lev3 and sort on Lev2 by "x" attribute. How I can acomplish this?
